Favourites Brazil enjoyed their opening Group G match and will now move on to a tough-looking fixture against Switzerland at Stadium 974 on November 28th.

Brazil took a while to find their feet against Serbia, however, when they eventually managed to turn the screw, they looked unstoppable. The Selecao are tournament favourites and justified the hype with a slick second half performance which saw Spurs back-up Richarlison find the net twice. The South American outfit continued to create chances during the second half, although Tite will also be pleased with the clean sheet and his side’s ability to close the game out.

Switzerland put in solid, if unspectacular performance against Cameroon. Murat Yakin’s side rarely looked like getting out of first gear and they were able to capitalise on some hesitant defending from the Indomitable Lions in the second half. The Swiss are a defensively strong unit and they have beaten some decent sides during qualifying and in the Nations, however, this is a significant step up.

Brazil are priced up as the 5/13 favourites with 10Bet. Tite’s men are expected to ease past Switzerland, however, their opponents can be stubborn and some punters may be tempted by the 15/4 on offer for this game to end all-square.

Brazil vs Switzerlan Betting Tips

Brazil were a joy to watch against Serbia and although they took over 45 minutes to make the break-through, they will fancy their chances of registering a second successive victory. Tite’s talented squad gives them a significant advantage and the fact that he can bring Arsenal duo Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus off the bench showcases their strength-in-depth. Switzerland cannot match the quality that Brazil can boast.

BRAZIL TO WIN

Although Brazil could easily have hit five of six past Serbia in the second half of their opening group game, they are unlikely to get too carried away here. The Swiss can be obstinate and will look to frustrate the favourites throughout the 90 minutes. We can expect a solid performance from Murat Yakin’s side and they are unlikely to collapse under pressure.

2-3 GOALS EXACTLY

Although he’s got Gabriel Jesus breathing down his neck, Richarlison is unlikely to be dropped by Tite. The striker hasn’t been a regular starter in the PL, however, he has been excellent for his country and is the perfect fit for this current system. He looks confident in yellow and should be able to continue his quest for the Golden Boot.

Brazil vs Switzerlan Analysis

Brazil

Brazil’s squad is packed full of talent, and although that is likely to give manager Tite a few headaches, he plays a clearly defined system which doesn’t necessarily rely on selecting the biggest names in the squad.

Key Player/s: Casemiro, Neymar Jr, Vinicius Jr.

Team news: Neymar hobbled off the field against Serbia and he will be assessed of kick-off. The fact that the PSG man was able to walk away is a positive and we can expect further updates from Tite over the coming days. The coach is likely to opt for Richarlison over Gabriel Jesus, although the Arsenal man is likely to come off the bench at some stage.

Predicted Lineup: Alisson, Alex Sandro, Marquinhos, Dani Alves, Thiago Silva, Casemiro, Lucas Pacqueta, Raphinha, Vinicius Jr, Neymar Jr, Richarlison

Switzerland

Switzerland still rely upon Xherdan Shaqiri for creativity and the former Liverpool man wasn’t able to dictate against Cameroon. He could struggle to puncture the Brazilian back-line on Monday.

Key Player/s: Breece Embolo, Granit Xhaka

Team news: Murat Yakin must decide whether to reinstate Fabian Schar, who was left on the bench on Thursday morning. Although they have a number of strikers on the bench, the manager is likely to keep faith with Breece Embolo, who netted the winner against Cameroon.

Predicted Lineup: Yann Sommer, Silvan Widmer, Fabian Schar, Manuel Akanji, Ricardo Rodriguez, Granit Xhaka, Remo Freuler, Xherdan Shakiri, Ruben Vargas, Djibril Sow, Breece Embolo.

Brazil vs Switzerlan Prediction

Brazil will be confident of taking all three points here, however, they could be met with some stern resistance. Switzerland will be tough to break down, but they did switch off a couple of times against Cameroon and if they do that here, they are far more likely to be punished.
